Initiate the sepsis protocol immediately.

The Rapid Response Team (RRT) is only one call away:

Any staff member or parent can activate the RRT
Remember, the role of the RRT is to assess the patient and facilitate escalation of care, as appropriate.

Initiate a pediatric alert (code) if the patient has suffered a respiratory or cardiac arrest
